Forged Special Alloy Carbon Steel Fine detail work needs an edge that stays sharp. Forged from a special STRYI alloy carbon steel with a 0.2" (5mm) metal thickness and hardened to 58-62 HRC (Rockwell), this gouge keeps its sharpness through long sessions. It arrives sharpened and ready to use.
Ergonomic Oak Handle The 5.5" (140mm) handle is made from genuine oak and treated with natural linseed oil. Its shape gives you comfort and balance during long carving sessions.
Choose the Size for Your Project Available in nine widths from 0.4" (10mm) to 2.0" (50mm): 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, and 50mm. Choose the one that fits the scale of the details in your 3D carvings.
