Figured knife for woodcarving (art.183040) is a popular knife among carvers for whittling figurines.

It also can be used in chip-detailed carving. The both sided cutting edge allows it to make very thin chips. It is perfect for shaping spoons, kuksa handles, and so on. And narrow tip of the metal part  ( 30 degrees angle) allows for detailed parts of the item.

How often do I need to re-sharpen the tools?

With regular stropping on a leather block with polishing paste, you won't need to re-sharpen for a long time. Only use sharpening stones if the edge becomes chipped or significantly dull.

Do you offer tools for children?


We have specialized sets for young carvers (ages 8+ recommended) that are used in carving schools. However, we always recommend adult supervision.
