Sculpting, wood carving and a woodworking forged adze in small size is one of the basic wood carving tools. It is hand forged from carbon steel, hardened and tempered into a tool that will last you for a long time.
This gouge would be perfect for the deep woodworking and extracting wood out of deep hollows. Use this chisel to carve out your spoons, kuksas, and other rounded projects.

How often do I need to re-sharpen the tools?
With regular stropping on a leather block with polishing paste, you won't need to re-sharpen for a long time. Only use sharpening stones if the edge becomes chipped or significantly dull.
Do you offer tools for children?
We have specialized sets for young carvers (ages 8+ recommended) that are used in carving schools. However, we always recommend adult supervision.
