The foundation of every spoon or bowl begins with shaping the exterior. This 2" (50mm) whittling knife is your primary tool for contouring handles and removing bulk material. Its straight, razor-sharp blade provides the leverage needed for clean, powerful slices, allowing a smooth transition from a raw block to a refined ergonomic shape.
Creating the hollow center of a spoon or Kuksa requires specialized geometry. Our 1.38" (35mm) hook knife features a perfect curvature for hollowing. The double-sided cutting edge makes it exceptionally versatile, allowing both push and pull strokes for left- or right-handed use, ensuring a symmetrical interior surface every time.
The details make the masterpiece. This 0.8" (20mm) gouge is the ideal tool for refining deeper curves and cleaning up internal walls. It excels at removing small ridges left by the hook knife, ensuring a polished, professional finish even in the toughest grain.
